Some our recent project include the following:
OPRA file review at the Cedar Knolls and Trenton NJDEP office
Reviewing files and compiling either a Remedial Action Selection Strategy, Conceptual site Model, Scope of Work, or a Cost Estimate for contamination remaining onsite is a mainstay for G Environmental. There is hundreds, sometimes thousands of pages of paperwork, stored in the files of the NJDEP office for any particular project. G Environmental sorts through the reports and assorted pages in order to find the pertinent information for the client. From that data gathering figures can be reproduced as a conceptual model of the "next steps" for site development are taken.
Site Investigation - Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) Compliance
A mixed use site in Northern NJ was under contract to sell. Regulated USTs were removed but additional investigation was required in order to close out the tank removals. G Environmental installed soil borings down along the centerline of the former tank locations to 10-feet below grade, field screened the soil cores, logged the soils, collected soil samples, and compiled the associated SIR report and Response Action Outcome (RAO) was issued for the removals to document that no contamination was encountered.
Regulated Tank Removal
G Environmental using the LSRP license obtained a NJDEP Tank Closure Permit for the removal. Then provided onsite oversight for the removal conducted by the contractor-client. G Environmental collected soil samples from below the UST, documented the removal (photos), screened the surrounding soil for any potential impact, and sent the samples to the laboratory for analyses. G Environmental completed all of the necessary NJDEP SRRA forms including the updated Facility Questionnaire, Case Inventory Document, PA-SI Form, RAO and submitted the associated Site Investigation Report along with the RAO to the NJDEP to close out the tank removal.
